Culinary Scholarship Scholarship Guidelines

COEUR DE CUISINE™ Escondido Rotary Club $1,000 Culinary Scholarship guidelines:

 

To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must be at least 18 years of age, a San Diego County resident, and currently attending an accredited culinary education or training program. The winner will be rewarded a $1,000 check sent directly to the school's registration office.

Application forms must be submitted along with a one-page narrative, which will help the scholarship committee reach a decision.

The scholarship must be used within 2 years or it falls back into the Rotary’s scholarship fund.

The Rotary’s scholarship selection committee will read and review the applications submitted by all applicants. The scholarship committee will interview the top two applicants, and select a winner. Applications must be submitted no later than January 31, 2013.

The scholarship committee will include a professional chef that attends the Coeur de Cuisine™ event for their final scholarship selection.

The scholarship will be presented at the Coeur de Cuisine™ Event on February 24th, 2013.
