The highlight of Coeur de Cuisine™ is honoring members of our community who best exemplify the Rotary ideal of Service Above Self. 

Jackie Skay

A committed volunteer, Jackie is a founding member and Chair of the Escondido Community Foundation; member of the Advisory Committee: California Center for the Arts, Escondido; Past President, American Association of University Women, Escondido-San Marcos. She has been both on the Board of Directors chaired the Endowment Committee for the Boys and Girls Club of San Marcos; Counsel to the San Marcos Educational Foundation. She has also been on the Parish Council for San Marcos Lutheran Church, and Chaired their Endowment Committee.

Jay Grossman

Jay has volunteered at Camp Discovery in Minnesota for past 18 years, a Volunteer at Felicita School for Everyone’s a Reader for past five years. Jay helps select our RYLA and LEAD participants, our Scholarship recipients, and is part of the Escondido Charitable Foundation.

The Escondido Charitable Foundation provides grants to local non-profit agencies. In its 11 years of existence, the Foundation has raised over $3 Million to benefit local organizations in Escondido.
